In 1998, while Google was just beginning its journey in Silicon Valley, ADSOFTWARE was starting its own adventure in the picturesque region of Haute-Savoie, France. It all began with Frédéric Ulrich, an aviation enthusiast and software expert, who had been tasked with developing a solution for a small local helicopter company.

What started as a modest project quickly evolved into something much larger. Driven by curiosity and a keen understanding of the aviation industry, our young man soon realized there was a much bigger opportunity at hand. Why stop at just a small tool? What if there could be a comprehensive software system designed to manage all aspects of aviation maintenance? This vision sparked the creation of ADSOFTWARE.

The Spark that Ignited Innovation
By 1999, just one year after the initial project began, a pivotal partnership was formed. He teamed up with the individual who would eventually become the Development Team Manager at ADSOFTWARE. This partnership proved to be a turning point, as the two shared a vision of building a fully integrated system for aviation maintenance and operations. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become a full-fledged ERP system designed to meet the complex needs of fleet operators.

This collaboration brought clarity to their mission: to offer more than just software, but a solution that would evolve alongside the dynamic needs of the aviation industry.

The First Big Leap
ADSOFTWARE’s first significant international milestone came in Tahiti. The company’s software was recommended to an airline based in the Pacific, marking ADSOFTWARE’s entry into the global market. This wasn’t just about selling a product, it was proof that the solution could transcend borders, adapt to different aviation landscapes, and serve diverse clients worldwide.

This initial success fueled a period of rapid growth. The software continued to evolve, expanding from a maintenance tool into a comprehensive ERP system. Over the next few years, the ADSOFTWARE team welcomed six new specialists, all experts in software development, design, and engineering.
